Gauss's Law: Total flux of a closed surface = Total Charge Inside / e0 e0 is a constant. Surface charge density (sigma) = Q / A (Total charge per unit area) E (dot) dS = |E| |dS| cos (theta) Where |E| is the magnitude of the vector E and |dS| is the magnitude of the vector dS and theta is the angle between the 2 vectors.
