Futon (布團)
A Japanese bedding style, including a mattress and a duvet that can be easily folded and stored away during the day. Typically laid directly on the floor or on tatami.
Chabudai
A low table, designed for people to sit on the floor around it, on cushions called zabuton.
Oshiire
A closet used for storing futons, beddings, and other household items, it has sliding doors.
Tatami
Mats made of rice straw, used as flooring in rooms. They are soft and comfortable surfaces that are good for sitting, sleeping, and walking.
