Final Report

Each group member is required to consolidate their research findings into a report. These reports should not only summarize the content of the presentation but also include a detailed analysis of the findings, the member’s personal opinions, perspectives on the topic, and any additional relevant content that supports or enhances the understanding of the subject matter. The reports, providing a comprehensive overview of the presentation content, must be submitted by August Ist. The format and style guidelines for the reports are as follows:

Format: Reports should be prepared either in a Jupyter notebook (ipynb) format or as an Ad-sized PDF. If you opt for the PDF format, any associated code used in your research can be submitted separately as supplementary material.

Title Page: The title of your chosen topic in numerical analysis, your name, and your ID should be clearly stated at the beginning of the first page of each report.

Content Requirements: Each report should include a summary of the findings related to the chosen topic, a detailed analysis, and personal reflections or opinions on the matter. Any additional content that is deemed necessary or insightful for understanding the topic can also be included. The aim is to create a report that provides a clear, detailed, and comprehensive overview of your chosen topic in numerical analysis.

AI Utilization Documentation: Document your use of generative AI in your report preparation and research process. Include details about prompt engineering strategies, model selection rationale, automation scripts developed, and how AI tools contributed to your research outcomes. Provide evidence of proper source verification and cite all Al- assisted work appropriately. Maintain logs of your AI interactions and describe measures taken to address potential hallucinations or inaccuracies.

Reflections Section: Include a final section titled “Reflections” in your report. ‘This should contain your overall impressions of the course, your experiences with the final group work, the good and bad aspects of the group work, and what you learned from this experience. Reflecting on the course and the group work will not only demonstrate your understanding of the subject matter but also showcase your capacity for self-assessment, and growth.
